Senior Fellow Vincent Merckx at the BayCEER colloquium

On Thursday, October 21, our Senior Fellow Dr. Vincent Merckx, will give a talk on "Mycoheterotrophy: an uncharted carbon flux in the plant world" at the BayCEER colloquium. The talk will take place at H8 (Geo) from 12:15-1:45 pm. For more, please see the BayCEER announcement and their website.
Dr Merckx is currently a Research Group Leader of "Understanding Evolution" at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, the Netherlands. He and two of his PhD students from Leiden will spend a week at the University of Bayreuth to prepare in-field experiments in the Bayreuth region, that will take place in spring 2022. Hosts are Prof. Dr. Gerhard Gebauer and Jun.-Prof. Dr. Johanna Pausch.
