The latest Short Term Grantees have been selected
17.01.2022
With a clear commitment to continued international research mobility, in December 2021 the Executive Board of the Bayreuth Humboldt Centre selected another five Short Term Grantees. They join our 32 Fellows and Grantees funded by the Centre to date, and they do so from Czech Republic, Finland, New Zealand, Taiwan and the United States.
In their new collaborative projects with Bayreuth colleagues, they investigate the influence of changing temperature patterns on the rock strength (Dr. Jan Blahůt with host Prof. Dr. Oliver Sass) and develop an accurate and scalable finite element ocean model (Dr. Tuomas Kärnä with Prof. Dr. Vadym Aizinger). Prof. Dr. Rebecca Krukowski with her host Jun.-Prof. Dr. Laura König improve self-monitoring feedback on eating behaviour while Dr. Huong Dieu Dang with Prof. Dr. Klaus Schäfer explore sustainability, climate risk and sovereign credit ratings. Dr. Feng-Shu Lee with her host Prof. Dr. Anno Mungen investigate music and optical illusion in Nineteenth-Century Europe.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming all new Grantees on campus!
